Demon’s Whispers

There’s only so much you can run from when demons reside in the back of your mind.

They’re always there. Biding their time, awaiting when they can strike with a vengeance.

And when they attack, they shout awful lies that cannot be forgotten or fought.

The voices of the demons cause you to buckle at the knees, to break down and to lose yourself.

So you can attempt to run meaninglessly, or you can fight them.

Of course, fighting is easier said than done, but if you don’t, you will succumb to the demons.
