‘Twas the calm before the storm.

The good times and feeling the norm.

Alas, the norm is seemingly and illusion,

and what she was feeling was just an erratic emotional fusion.

So she waited for the inevitable stint of crazy,

and let her mind be incredibly hazy.

Drugs and liquor were the helpful fuel,

for the memories that were ever so cruel.
